My experience is in working with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, doing community work. I have supported those experiencing domestic violence, family conflict, homelessness, trauma, crisis, relationship difficulties, and other challenges. My approach is led by my belief that there is an inherent inclination in everyone toward growth, and you have the answers you seek already within you. I see my role as supporting you to discover those answers, using a relational, client-centered, and trauma-focused approach. I am also flexible in adapting how I work to what works best for you.
I enjoy working with adults who are seeking to improve their relationships with either others or within themselves, and who are seeking to identify how previous experiences are creating patterns that are no longer serving them. I am also LGBTQ+ affirming.
My communication style is flexible and changes to meet the needs of those I'm working with. I strive to be transparent in my work, as well as collaborative. I intend to show up as authentically as I can, which sometimes means infusing humor into sessions. Integrity is also a strong value of mine that comes across in the way I communicate.
