About
I am passionate about providing women with the support they need throughout the lifespan in a safe, warm and collaborative environment. I enjoy working with adults and adolescents to address a range of challenges, including help with a major transition, starting/sustaining/ending a relationship, becoming a parent, growing a family, infertility, switching careers, or aging. I have expertise addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, disordered eating, and stress from work, school or interpersonal relationships. I strive to help all clients explore their emotions, develop effective coping skills, and make positive change in their lives.
My approach to therapy stems from psychodynamic and existential theory, which helps clients process through periods of major change in their lives and better understand their interpersonal relationships. My goal is to help you learn strategies for managing difficult emotions and discover the root causes of your reactions to life challenges.
I earned my PhD from the California School of Professional Psychology and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in women's mental health. I am certified in trauma-based therapy and in telehealth practices. I aim to empower clients to take control over their mental health and to lead happy, healthy lives.
