Through life’s challenges, we develop resiliency and personal growth. Sometimes this process is difficult, and we need support as we face and respond to change and loss. My ideal client includes individuals, couples, and families who are walking through grief, change, or crisis. I have worked with adolescents and their families for over 25 years in the role of a teacher and school counselor. I also love working with couples as they navigate life together.
I have a special interest in working with veterans and their families. I believe that this is a vulnerable community and have vowed to do all I can to support them.
As someone who has experienced challenges and has done the arduous work of processing experiences to then build resilience, I understand how challenging and vulnerable the therapeutic process is.
