I am a Clinical Psychologist and I enjoy working with children, families, couples and individuals. I have been working with children and families for over 15 years. Specifically much of my work has focused on children 0-5 and their caregivers. We all need a little support during life's transitions and it takes a lot of strength to ask for help. I use a collateral approach when working with families and individuals, my belief is that you are the expert and I will support you through your journey whatever it may be.
I have a strong passion in supporting families and children who have experienced trauma in the healing process. Much of my work with families with young children is providing anticipatory guidance for age appropriate developmental milestones, as well as validating frustrations and anxieties about parenting issues that may arise.
I use the Child-Parent Psychotherapy model that focuses on the attachment and relationship between the parent and child 0-5. This approach is based on the theory that healing begins through the relationship. I am a strong believer that parents play a vital role in supporting the healing process.
