I’m Christina Puterbaugh, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Virginia with 7 years of experience working with pre-adolescents, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. I help clients navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, identity development, and relationship issues. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Development and a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Virginia Tech.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and client-centered, utilizing strengths-based, solution-focused, emotionally-focused, and family systems methods tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual or family. I believe that the foundation of successful therapy lies in building a positive client-therapist relationship.
