If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or are unhappy at work or in your close relationships, it may be hard to imagine you could ever feel differently. The stress of modern life, especially in NYC, can often leave us feeling lost, disillusioned or isolated. I work with clients to better understand what is keeping them from moving forward in their lives. A typical client might be experiencing a life transition such moving to a new city, coping with the loss of a loved one, or recently ending a relationship.
I specialize in working with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, and grief. I am psychodynamically oriented but also have training in other modalities such as motivational interviewing, prolonged grief disorder therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.
