I specialize in providing anti-oppressive therapy to sexually and gender diverse folx, neurodivergent, fat, and poly/ENM folx dealing with issues of identity, shame, trauma, body image, self-esteem, OCD, and interpersonal conflict. I support clients in identifying thought patterns that prevent growth and unlearning internalized messages. I employ IFS/parts work to help you understand different aspects of yourself and the role/function they each serve (e.g., protection) to work towards restoration and repair.
Additionally, I will utilize a mindfulness-based approach (ACT & DBT) to support you in creating positive change in your life guided by your values. Together, we'll shift how you respond to your thoughts and feelings, allowing space for acceptance. We'll also focus on your past experiences, relationships, and our relationship in the therapeutic space.
