Colibri Counseling & Consulting, PLLC (established in 2021) provides therapy for anxiety, grief, trauma, caregivers, and individuals adjusting to life transitions. Clinical experience includes early childhood mental health, the autism community, veterans, crisis counseling in the ER, and in clinical leadership. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and empowered while navigating personal needs and caregiving responsibilities. I specialize in supporting caregivers, whether raising a child, caring for an aging parent, or both. Caring for others can be demanding, and you deserve support too.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Nationally Certified (NCC, CCMHC). I have training in trauma, shame-informed care, and practice from a variety of methods such as psycho-dynamic, existential, strengths-based, person-centered, and CBT, and believing you are the agent of your own healing. Colibri has another provider as well who is an LCSW.
In my past career life, I used to work as a preschool teacher, which fuels my love for early childhood. I am a firm believer that our childhood experiences, form the rest of our lives. It is with this philosophy I shape most of my treatment approach and clinical perspective. I look forward to working with you and being apart of your wellness and growth!
