I whole-heartedly believe in each individual's unique ability to find their true Self, the person they were meant to become. From a centered existence one is better able to make choices that promote health, supportive relationships, and passionate pursuits. At times, one may find what once was easy has become more difficult. One's emotional and perceptual landscape may become unfamiliar, what one allows others to see may not fit with how one really feels, one's path may become less certain. Therapy provides the acceptance and space with which to find oneself, perhaps for the first time.
My therapeutic stance is based on the philosophy that each individual's experience and world-view deserves respect and understanding. I join with my clients collaboratively, empowering them to be the most they choose to be. I am committed to the notion that personal responsibility is inextricably inter-connected with social responsibility.
I have extensive experience working with individuals who find themselves suffering from relational problems, low self-esteem, panic attacks, depression, PTSD, sexual abuse, domestic violence, bi-polar disorder, and psychosis. I am continuously reminded of the resilience of the human spirit.

Closed–Anger Abatement Intervention Program (AAIP)
This individualized Anger Abatement Intervention Program (AAIP) is based on the Governor's Office requirements as well as the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA) Model and the Duluth Model. Members will gain insight into their communication styles, automatic negative thoughts, and current coping skills in order to learn how to implement more effective methods for responding. In addition, this participatory group will highlight the Duluth Model of domestic violence to assist members in acknowledging and transforming self-identified abusive aspects of their relationships.
