Therapy can be a challenging and vulnerable process at times, yet extremely rewarding and healing. I hope to provide the support clients need through their personal journey of self discovery and positive change.
I have received my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. I have knowledge in working with a broad range of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, interpersonal conflict, grief and loss, self esteem, life changes and navigating healthy boundaries.
I believe it is important to meet the client at their current level of functioning, while utilizing a flexible therapeutic approach tailored to each client’s needs. I also emphasize a positive therapeutic relationship when working with clients, as rapport building is a crucial element in the healing process.
