Hi, I’m Christina, thank you for taking the time to read my page. Therapy can be a challenging and vulnerable process at times, yet extremely rewarding and healing. I hope to provide the support clients need through their personal journey of self discovery and positive change.

I have received my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. I’m passionate about helping those with anxiety, stress, personal confidence issues, interpersonal conflict, grief and loss, self esteem issues, life changes and navigating healthy boundaries.

I believe it is important to meet the client at their current level of functioning, while utilizing a flexible therapeutic approach tailored to each client’s needs. I also emphasize a positive therapeutic relationship when working with clients, as rapport building is a crucial element in the healing process.

A large part of my practice focuses on rapport building to foster a safe therapeutic connection. I also heavily discuss CBT which centers on challenging thoughts to understand the connection between emotions and behaviors.
