About
I regularly work with individuals, couples and families, with a wide range of concerns including, but not limited to, daily issues, grief and loss, relationship issues, parenting issues, challenges in careers, anxiety, depression, and PTSD, and I help clients cope with stressful life situations and transitions. I help many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. I have worked to support and empower clients of all ages and walks of life in individual and group settings. I tremendously enjoy working with a diverse clientele and look forward to working with you!
My counseling style is warm and welcoming, everyone deserves to be treated with respect and sensitivity. My office is a judgment free zone, where all are respected and heard. I use an eclectic approach to counseling and utilize several theories in my technique. I feel that each individual is different and there isn't one approach which works for everyone.
The focus of Port Bay Counseling and Wellness is mental well being, personal empowerment and individual growth. Many wellness modalities are utilized in this relaxed country setting, talk therapy, meditation, relaxation, mindfulness, as well as expressive art techniques to optimize growth and healing, with a focus on exploration and awareness of self.
