Hi there! Transitioning into college, finding a new job, or even learning that you have a newly diagnosed, chronic illness? You do not have to walk this journey alone! I am here to create a safe space for each client to find strength, process their emotions within their new exploration, and regain balance in their life. I have expertise in anxiety and stress management, college counseling, self-esteem building, career development, and counseling for chronic illness. As your counselor, my plan is to meet you where you are, with encouragement and non-judgment.
My goal is to empower you to take charge and become the expert of your life. I like to tailor techniques based on what you are comfortable with. My most used modalities are mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy. You are the driver, and I am in the passenger seat holding directions!
I like to think that sessions with me feel more like a conversation vs. me talking "at" you. I want you, the client, to feel as an equal. Imagine us sipping tea and conversing about your most recent anxiety-driven experience and how we can work together to practice a healthy way of coping.
