People often only think of trauma as a major disaster but it can be much less obvious like: negative self talk, negative sibling interactions, educational trauma, abusive relationships, parental overreactions, religious trauma, and bullying. All leave scars and can need some help to heal.
I have come to specialize in trauma with EMDR and IFS as primary treatment to help move negative messages from past traumas. When we logically know we are safe and emotionally feel scared, EMDR helps your logic talk louder and calm your emotions to a 0/10. I use traditional talk therapy, sand tray, and expressive therapy techniques to access and process.
I am Pagan and truly believe in the body & mind's desire and ability to heal. I'll meet you where you are. I'm also a Shamanic practitioner and can help to build spiritual strength. I have been through traumas and know change is difficult. The journey is not easy and you are not alone; I will be there by your side when you feel the time has come for change.
