In my career thus far I have worked with adults with disabilities and adolescents with emotional disturbances for 6 years. My passion is helping clients to better understand themselves and why they are the way they are. Seeing my clients adopt healthy coping and communication skills and utilizing them to start changing their lives for the better brings me immense joy. My specialties are adolescents, trauma work, and I often use cognitive and dialectical behavioral techniques in treatment.
I take a warm, empathic, cognitive approach and work to meet my clients where they are at in each session, while encouraging reflection and challenging negative self talk that may arise. Trust building is an integral part of my therapeutic process so that clients know they can bring anything to therapy with zero judgment.
