I am glad to work with individuals, couples, and families, to help bring hope and healing. Many individuals struggle with anxiety, depression, past trauma, as well as negative thought cycles, that leave them stuck and miserable. It's common for teens to experience low self esteem, and confusion about the future and where they belong. Couples can find themselves in a place where they struggle to connect, and end up in defense postures feeling frustrated and disconnected. Often, there is healing that needs to take place as well as learning to see through each other's "lenses", to build a strong attachment that will last.
Everyone is unique. I strive to meet people where they are, and work with them to discover where they'd like to be and help them get there. I waste little time getting to core issues, and I pull from several therapeutic modalities, depending on what is needed. I have chosen to use modalities that have trusted success based on psychological research.

Groups
Step-Mom Support and Process Group
For Step-Moms looking for a safe space to share, listen and gain helpful Step-parenting tools. This is a small group made up of Step-Moms who will gather for 6 sessions every other Thursday 6:15-7:45pm. Each session will include a specific topic related to Step-parenting, as well as time to share and process. This group will be facilitated by Licensed Professional Therapist, Christina Brown, who has successfully helped raise two Step-children, and continues to maintain healthy relationships with both.
