I utilize validation and the ability to be vulnerable in a safe place, to support healing from complex trauma and/or grief from childhood into adulthood.
If you are seeking therapy for a loved one, I work with children of all ages. I also particularly enjoy working with families with open minds, who are seeking further understanding of their children's needs and are ready to work towards strengthening family bonds.
My "specialties" include neurodivergence of all ages (including parenting), highly sensitive people (HSP), adoption, foster care, attachment related issues, children and teens resistant to therapy, self-esteem/self-worth related to shame and vulnerability, adult children of emotionally immature parents, & learning healthy boundaries.
I challenge my clients to utilize their learned skills and boundaries to support the life they want and deserve.
This involves holding my clients accountable by utilizing compassion, empathy, and curiosity.
Therapy with me involves safety and validation to reduce shame and/or guilt. As much as we can try, we can't shame ourselves into loving ourselves!
