I am a Social Worker with over a decade of experience helping adults and older adults cope with and adapt to loss and life changes. I have experience with grief therapy, anxiety, depression, life transitions, coping skills, Alzheimer’s/Dementia certification and parenting challenges. My approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I use an eclectic approach, including CBT, Mindfulness, Transactional Analysis, and most importantly, Empathic Listening. I use a collaborative mentoring style in my counseling to help clients learn why they behave the way they do so that they can be empowered to make changes.
