Welcome to my site. I bring over 35 years of experience helping clients to identify and heal the sources of discomfort that bring them to counseling. Whether their concerning issues are situational, biochemical, or a long standing pattern of behavior, my approach is to always start with where the client is and what they are wanting out of counseling. I have extensive experience working with late teens and adults, both men and women. My practice includes individuals and couples work which also includes the LGBTQ community.
My specialties are women's issues, sexual orientation concerns, mood disorders, couples counseling, addictions and life coaching. I use CBT, Feminist Therapy, Family Systems, Group Psychotherapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Positive Psychology. I seek to be compassionate and empathetic, bringing my sense of humor to work daily.
