My ideal client is every child, teen or young adult trying to understand the importance of choices and experiences, and how they may affect present struggles. As we work together, you will learn that I am a confidant and that I will be unbiased. I will work to help you get comfortable talking about things that you may not have been comfortable sharing with family or friends before, and over time, I will help you to understand that self-growth is possible.
I want to help you and your family to reframe the attitudes, beliefs, and lifestyle choices that have blocked your ability to be totally yourself so that you are more effective at reaching your personal goals. My approach is compassionate and collaborative. I want to build a therapeutic relationship that is genuine and open.
I have experienced many road blocks but that did not mean my story was over. I believe each child, teen and young adult has a purpose and my goal is to help them discover it. No matter the difficulties or road blocks, delayed does not mean denial. I believe therapy is just the first courageous step to making your life better on purpose.
