I provide a safe and accepting environment to heal from past traumas, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. If you've tried before but things just aren't coming together you know how frustrating it is to not be able to be the real you. At first I'll help you identify where these difficulties come from, followed by learning and practicing ways to manage negative symptoms, and last we work together to resolve these issues at the root so you don't have to worry about them reoccurring. I've worked with adolescence and families for around 25 years in a variety of settings. These settings include being a youth / children's pastor prior to starting my counseling journey. Much of my experience involves working with those that struggle with abuse, depression, relationship conflict, self harming behaviors, legal issues, and behavior problems. Although I am licensed to practice counseling through the State of Texas, I am a Christian and the fundamentals of my practice are in line with traditional Christian faith.

Whether working individually, with a partner or family member, or in a group setting, I collaborate with my clients to explore their experiences and potential skills and abilities for overcoming issues that are interfering with their lives. Examples of these can include grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, abuse, relationship issues, and several others. Together, my clients and I work as a team to achieve success, which provides the opportunity to focus on goal-setting, strengths, morals and values, and motivation to create a more self-satisfying future where issues can be dealt with in a healthy and constructive way.

As a TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) Practitioner, I am equipped with techniques designed for children (and their families) who have faced trauma and live with attachment issues.
