I believe psychotherapy is a collaborative process that is an important step in making changes and adjustingting to transitions in life. As a clinical psychologist, I work with people to understand what gets in the way of change, to help them access the strengths they have, and make progress towards their goals in life. There are times in life when you may struggle with social-emotional issues that are overwhelming. I have conducted intakes and assessments, developed treatment plans and provided individual, group family, and adjunctive therapies. In addition, I have worked in an Emergency Room setting, providing interventions to physicians referred patients with substance abuse issues.
