About
Sometimes life can be overwhelming. Strong emotions can lead you to do things that get in the way of living the life you want. Depression keeps you from getting out of bed, anger has you fighting with those we love most and anxiety can leave you feeling almost paralyzed. Know that you don't have to go through it alone. I'm here to help and we can create positive change in your life. Just give me a call.
I have a masters degree in clinical social work from Michigan State university and I have worked in urban, suburban and rural areas with clients as young as 5 and as old as 84. I have experience working with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, anger, substance abuse and self harm.
At my clinic we offer Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, or DBT, services to adults and adolescents. This treatment was designed to help those suffering from Borderline Personality Disorder, but it has also proven to be effective for those diagnosed as Bipolar. DBT is evidence based and it can change your life.
