As an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and Colorado, I assist adults, athletes and other performers working through life challenges involving complex trauma, anxiety, PTSD, performance anxiety, and other difficulties that have become a block in their life. My practice goes beyond traditional "talk therapy" in that I believe in targeting the root of disturbances that have become frozen in the body through the use of biofeedback, EMDR, and Brainspotting modalities. The space is held for you, the client, to heal through the way your heart and brain was designed to do!
My approach to therapy begins with the nervous system where clients will be given tools during the first session to apply immediately. Clients can expect a treatment experience where they are encouraged to talk as much or little as they feel comfortable about the issue or disturbance.
I grew up in East Texas and in my free time, I enjoy time on the golf course, watching movies, and trying new foods. I graduated from Letourneau University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and completed my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling in 2010 from Ottawa University/Phoenix Seminary.
