At Hope Clinic Behavioral Health, my approach is based on a person-centered and cognitive-behavioral therapy philosophy of care as I work with individuals, couples, and youth in need of support. Together we outline approaches that best match your needs and goals. I strive to use my experience, and honest and open style of communication to act as a positive support to help you establish and fulfill therapeutic and life goals, providing psychotherapy in accordance with an evidence-based practice recovery model. If you're a couple reaching out for support, I will work with you to encourage a deeper connection and accountability.

I am passionate about serving adults and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, addictions and trauma. I am interested in rooting out those issues that have remained in the shadows and need to be brought into the light and dealt with. I encourage honest introspection and life application in order to achieve long term healing.

Whether you are sad, angry, tired, anxious, frustrated, depressed, or anything else you may be struggling with, I am here to help. I take great care to earn the trust of each client, and I will work with you to address whatever is weighing on you - from depression, overwhelming anxiety, and past trauma, to relationship issues, struggles with anger, and low self-esteem.

We are all on a journey. As we face the hills and valleys of life, we need the support of others to walk alongside us to encourage and to navigate our paths. I have experience working with individuals and families experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, parent-child interaction issues, grief, anger, relationship issues, family concerns, school issues and other mental health concerns. I am committed to providing professional, holistic, evidence-based, and compassionate mental health support. I view the counseling process as a collaboration process between me and the clients.

I have helped hundreds of clients overcome depression, anxiety, trauma, and a variety of complex issues in a private practice setting for over a decade. My passion is empowering individuals with identity development, self-esteem, self-awareness, resiliency to build that fulfilled and thriving life! I enjoy working with individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, stressors in life transitions, spiritual issues, loss, and grief as well as relational conflict. It is my goal to create a safe, nonjudgmental place for you to open up and find the healing that you seek.

My passion is in working with teens and young adults who have had to navigate parental divorce, loss, family conflicts, struggles with anxiety and depression, and healing from abusive relationships. The relationships we have throughout life can cause pain, but relationships also have the power to bring healing to those areas of our hearts and minds that have been damaged. This is why a therapeutic relationship is so impactful and why my approach to therapy is relational and collaborative.

Does it feel like something just isn't quite right in life? Oftentimes, we can feel burnt out by the expectations and pressures from our lives. I work with teens, adults and couples living with anxiety, PTSD (C-PTSD), depression, perfectionism, challenging parent relationships and ongoing life stressors. Together, we seek to have a deeper connection to your life that is compassionate and promotes agency in order to restore and create safe relationships with others.

I have extensive experience as a school counselor, drug alcohol counselor and in my private practice helping adolescence navigate and work through issues regarding anxiety, school struggles and family conflict. I also assist and give parents skills in raising teens. My Masters Degree is in marriage counseling. My primary focus with married couples is a family systems and Gottman method approach which is researched based approaches to help couples work toward reconciliation by overcoming resentment and better communication in marriage. Lastly, I have close to 10 years experience working in inpatient drug and alcohol treatment.
