My approach is person-centered, relationally-based, and narrative. I work with a wide variety of clientele, but some of my strengths include working with children and families, working with men, and integrating culture and spirituality, especially Christian spirituality, into the treatment plan, if desired.

I believe that all of us have the ability to be great, but there are challenges that get in the way. My passion is to help you realize who you are and what you can accomplish despite those challenges. I want to motivate and help you to do the work you need to be a better person, spouse, partner, parent, or friend. I know that we all have things going on, my goal is to be there for you through it, good or bad. Building you up or being there through a tough time that's what therapy is for.

I have extensive clinical experience working with patients with a variety of backgrounds and mental health conditions. Marilyn Baker is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate with experience in corporate and nonprofit sectors working with diverse populations and internationally. She has been involved in Christian ministry since 2016 and received her graduate degree from Western Seminary. She focuses on providing direct counseling services to those in high-stress work environments and those struggling with chronic physical or emotional burdens.

Welcome! I am a retired Navy Chaplain with 10 years of enlisted service and 8 years as a chaplain. I retired in 2008 and then worked 7 years as a mental health crisis worker, housed homeless Veterans for four years, and now I am doing telehealth therapy since 2020 just before the pandemic. I have a wide variety of experiences with many different types of people in many different situations.

I currently have openings. Now accepting Medicare. I am a marriage and family counselor with over 20 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with numerous couples and families facing various traumas, as well as relational and communication challenges. I help clients deal with deep-rooted issues and past traumas that may be hindering their emotional well-being and relationships. Through my extensive work in this field, I have honed my skills in understanding the complexities of human relationships and guiding individuals towards healthier connections.

Holly enjoys actively working with clients to help them see that transformation and healing is possible. She is particularly interested in working with individuals and couples experiencing life transitions, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Complex-PTSD, anxiety and depression. Holly is experienced in supporting single parents on their journey, clergy, and values being able to serve the military and first responder communities. Holly views her clients as having many strengths before starting therapy while also having immense potential for growth, change, and healing.
