I offer professional Christian counseling with offices in Denton and Flower Mound. I've been working with individuals, groups, couples, and families for over 15 years in community and private settings as well as discipleship, recovery, and teaching ministries in the local church. I train other counselors and am a licensed Supervisor. I'm certified through the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC) and have completed post-graduate training from the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) of the International OCD Foundation, and the Psychiatry Academy at Massachusetts General Hospital. I'm also a pastor/elder at my local church.

Hello, I'm Daphne. Being a licensed counselor for over 15 years has brought me extensive opportunities to work with clients experiencing a multitude of situations, hardships, struggles, confusions, problems, and hurts. Some client concerns that I have worked with include professionals struggling with balancing work and personal life, people experiencing relationship hurt, career and life trajectory confusion, struggles with depressed mood or anxiety, as well as trauma recovery. I work with clients from a Christian counseling perspective, utilizing Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy.

We also specialize in treating children as young as 3 years old, preteens, adolescents, and adults with trauma, self harm, sexual abuse, and grief. With children, we are skilled in treating behavioral issues, ADHD, and peer-relationship skills. We also use a variety of modalities to help my clients effectively implement healthy coping skills, positive self talk, and work towards a healthier you, using EMDR, Gottman, CBT, and Play/Activity Therapy.

I specialize in assisting with a variety of human experiences, including Autism Spectrum Condition, ADHD, disability, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and spirituality. In therapy, I collaborate with you on implementing practical strategies to navigate your unique brain, relationships, and life circumstances. We can use existential counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, mood management, exposure treatment, or even dream work!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received both my B.A. degree in Psychology and my M.A. degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. I have received my doctorate from Northcentral University with a specialization in Health Psychology. I have experience working with crisis intervention and suicidal ideation through working on a crisis and suicide hotline, as well as facilitating ten week aftercare programs for adolescent suicidal ideation and alcohol and drug addiction. I have experience working with families regarding divorce, teen pregnancy, and blended families.

I specialize in marriage counseling, trauma, and abuse. Marriage is work. Trauma is devastating. Abuse is scarring. I also work with teenagers and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and a variety of other issues. My goal is to help my clients reach their goals!
