Children engage in counseling by interacting with the therapist and toys in a special setting. I team with parents and have parent consults regularly.

I am a Texas Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Guidance & Counseling (Mental Health Counseling) and a Doctorate degree in Christian Counseling. Additionally, I hold a second doctorate degree along with several academic degrees in science and education from universities in three different continents! My behavioral health work began in 1988, with adolescents and their families, branching into extremely effective work with addictions and couples counseling. I am trained in EMDR & Brainspotting (BSP), a very fast paced healing process for all types of trauma, PTSD, abuse issues, anxiety, overwhelming emotions, grief issues and cravings. I work most quickly with athletes suffering from mental blocks, injuries and other issues inhibiting performance even though the injury is completely healed. Many of my athletic clients have completed in just a two hour session.
