Jacki Files is a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina and is a trained EMDR therapist and specializes in treating trauma. She has treated many people who come from an abusive and/or traumatic childhood or an abusive relationship and has helped them find healing. Jacki also has experience with helping people struggling with grief, depression, anxiety, mood dysregulation, schizophrenia, adjustment issues, and those with alcohol and drug addictions. Jacki has lived and worked in Canada, South Korea, China, and Thailand working primarily as a high school art teacher, before getting her MA degree in Mental Health Counseling.

She is currently on her Ph.D. at Walden University in Clinical Education and Supervision. She has a MA from Regent University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a BA in Human Services. Kimberly is an empathetic, genuine, and warm therapist offering unconditional positive regard to all of her clients. She has a variety of trauma certifications to treat PTSD, sexual trauma, acute stress, anxiety disorders, depression, panic disorders, and more.
