I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) providing telemental health therapy services in North Carolina. I have over 25 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families presenting with concerns including but not limited to relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, depression, anxiety, PTSD and adjustment problems. I have extensive experience working with military couples and families as well as in assisting clients who have experienced domestic violence or childhood abuse or neglect. I hold certifications as a trauma professional and also as a clinical telemental health professional.

The everyday stressors of life can become overwhelming. Emotions and behaviors often are too much and it feels like what has worked before isn't working anymore. As your therapist, you and I will seek to discover attainable goals, strive after a healthier, more grounded sense of self, and work towards finding a more fulfilling and hopeful future. Pregnancy and motherhood can bring different challenges and I love supporting women through this transition. I believe trauma is often the root cause of a multitude of symptoms more easily identified as distressing in everyday life.

My extensive experience includes working with service members/veterans and their families as well as children ages birth-five and their families. I enjoy working with adults with infertility issues and women or men who have experienced sexual trauma. I also work with adolescents who have different mental health challenges. My desire is to help you and your family learn how to express who you are and to experience growth. I hope to help you and your family with developing good intuition, creating healthy connections, and becoming more of your authentic self (selves). I have a passion for serving those in crisis situations, women and teens facing emotional and behavioral issues, and working with families and couples in relational conflict. Anxiety, depression, trauma and couple counseling are some of the areas that I can help you with. I also have experience working with military families and serving youth and teens. I have worked with clients in crisis pregnancy situations and have helped women grieve after abortion to find healing. I offer free 10 minute consultations to see if I am the right fit for you.
