Hi everyone! I am an Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) here in Indiana. I am passionate about helping others navigate difficulties within their life while providing support and insights. I enjoy helping my clients reach their goals and discover new things about themselves. I am continuing to learn more and more about my passions within this field. So far I have found that I am particularly passionate about helping those who are experiencing difficulties in or losses of relationships, friendships, family relationships, and more. I am also passionate about helping individual's work through previous childhood hurt.

As a clinician it is my goal is not to focus on treatment, but to join the client through the process of healing. The way I do this is by getting in depth understanding of hearing the narrative of my client's lived experiences and starting at the place of their choosing. It is important to me build a strong connection to the clients I serve. Therefore, they can achieve be in a space where they can be open and allow the process of healing to occur.

Our staff of counselors, who specialize in trauma and attachment issues, delight in helping you deal with relationship issues in your family, anxiety and depression, parent/child issues and many other mental health issues. While we are known as a Christian counseling center, we work with you where you are in your life and assist you in dealing with the issues you bring to the therapeutic relationship. Treatment processes range from traditional talk therapy to Attachment Based Relationship Therapy.

A little about me: I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Writing Exposure Therapy (WET), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for individuals, and have utilized Solution-Focused Brief Therapy for couples. If you prefer a Biblical approach, I am comfortable with Christian counseling as well. Finally, if you have experienced a trauma that you need help in healing, yet do not wish to talk about it in deep detail, ART and WET can be utilized to minimize the re-telling of your painful history. I'm Brian Griffin, a LMHC trained in EMDR. I specialize in military, combat and non-combat, related experiences including transitioning from military to civilian life. I am a veteran having served with the 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC as a Chaplain Assistant. I work with law enforcement, first responders and medical personnel as a special interest. I am passionate about coming alongside grief work, life transitions, end of life, chronic health issues such as pain or illness, stress management, and growing from dysfunction to thriving.
