I have worked with individuals, couples and families for over 25 years in the same location. My approach is based upon your needs, but clinically speaking, I have a cognitive-behavioral orientation and family systems perspective. Most of my day I am helping people deal better with their anxiety and stress, sadness, grief, anger, work issues and relationships. I am teaching coping skills, and helping people become better versions of themselves. I generally treat persons individually from the ages of 18-up. Couples counseling is also an area of great interest and experience for me.

In my experience most clients with relationship issues, social anxiety, depression, low self esteem and substance use issues have an underlying trauma they have yet to process. I use trauma informed interventions (EMDR,) CBT, AEDP, family systems and provide tools and exercises clients can do to maximize their therapeutic results.
