Relationships are a dominant presence in our lives; we are meant to be relational. The relationships we remember from the past, experience in the present, and anticipate in the future are perhaps the most influential force in shaping who we are. I believe there are three types of relationships that therapy can foster health in - a person's relationship with himself or herself, a person's relationship with other people, and, for people of faith, a person's relationship with God. There is perhaps no better gift that could be received than a healthier relationship in these areas.
I certainly enjoy working with many individual clients. However, I have found that change is most effective when families work on relationships together in therapy. I welcome couples, families (including children), blended and co-parenting families, and inter-faith families into therapy to take a courageous step toward something better.
I have broad experience in addition to that of a therapist that assists me in my work, including professional experience in elementary education, the music industry, pastoral ministry and counseling, and my personal roles as a husband and father.

Groups
Thriving Men Recovery
I facilitate group therapy for male addicts who are interested in pursuing sexual addiction recovery. One group focuses on recovery with a strong integration of the Christian faith, and another group focuses on more general spirituality. Both groups foster an environment that includes professional acceptance and understanding, supportive compassion and accountability, personal healing and growth, and spiritual exploration and wisdom. Each group follows the original 30-task CSAT model. I can help you find a group that will be a good fit for you, whether you are of the Christian faith, another faith, or no faith.
