I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Arizona. I work with children, adolescents, teens, individuals, couples and families. I also provide counseling services for anger management, stress management and individuals struggling with addiction. My passion is helping individuals and families find freedom from codependency, negative thinking, anxiety and depression

Recovering from past abuse, trauma, neglect or anything less than an ideal situation can be challenging, lonely and painful. I work with young children ages 3 and older utIizing Adlerian Play therapy, art and sand therapy. I also work with adolescent and adults. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 18 years of experience working with children, young adults, adults and families. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns such as depression, anger management, ADHD, anxiety, abuse and trauma, adoption and attachment, parenting struggles, and grief and loss.

I am a licensed associate counselor with five years of experience in community mental health and private practice working with at-risk youth, families, and individuals. I provide trauma-informed integrative counseling and believe there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to therapy. Many of my clients have experienced one or more traumatic events and struggle to manage the lasting effects on themselves and those around them. I work to come alongside teens, children, individuals, and their families as they navigate life’s many challenges, providing a safe and stable environment for them to share their stories.

Instead, depression, anxiety, and lack of connection or meaning are familiar. We long to restore these connections and find success, even joy! It is my aim to come alongside my clients and their families, and support them in the journey back towards health and wholeness - to find tools to cope and grow in the present as well as build healing for a fulfilling future. Successful treatment begins with fostering trust, hope, and implementing strategies that really work. I am a culturally competent therapist with experience working with youth of all ages, adults, veterans, and families. I have a lot of experience working with foster youth in the system and helping adoptive/foster parents be preventative in handling behaviors in order to strengthen attachment.
