I am the "bookends therapist". I help clients and families with the beginning-of-life (0-10 years old) and end-of-life (65-100 years old) mental health challenges. Beginning-of-life counseling clients seek support for navigating early developmental challenges, family dynamics, and emotional regulation. End-of-life counseling (65-100 years old) seeks support in navigating retirement, aging, and finding purpose in later life. They aim to address existential concerns, foster family connections with parents or adult children, and prepare for the end-of-life transition after a family member passes.

I deeply enjoy the artwork of the therapy process. My goal is to help people find freedom and peace from traumas, addictions, unhealthy relationships, and destructive behaviors. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, children, and groups. My approach includes honesty and gentleness to build safety to face whatever obstacles are getting in the way.

As a clinician, I believe that when encouragement is present, people thrive and empower themselves to find their own healthy validation. Alfred Adler said, “Seeing with the eyes of another, listening with the ears of another, and feeling with the heart of another ”. This raveled sentence means so much to me. I want clients to know you are seen, heard, and those feelings that you experience are accepted and safe here.

I have worked with a wide range of people on a number of different issues. The majority has been depression and anxiety, but I have helped people with various mental health challenges that people face. In working with anyone, my main focus is on seeing the issue from their perspective and helping them overcome it or develop ways of coping. In seeking out therapy, for most people, there is a fear of engaging in it. A person that is able to start, participate, and finish therapy are brave people.

Since 2016 Cory has been working with adolescents, adults, couples & families at the professional level. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Arkansas & Tennessee. She received her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta. While in her Masters program, she completed a Graduate Certificate in Christian Sex Therapy. She is currently pursuing additional licensure through the American Board of Christian Sex Therapy (ABCST), is EMDR trained, and has over 120 hours of certified trauma training.

Sara’s passion and focus in counseling is grief and loss. She is an activate member of the Association of Death Education and Counseling and is a firm believer that grief is a common experience that binds us together in life. Sara has worked with a wide array of populations from geriatric, college students, homeless, perinatal loss, and adolescents.

I have counseled a variety of clients and value each one as an individual even when they are part of a couple or family unit. I understand it is hard to decide to make an appointment. Pam Goucher is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in both Arkansas and Tennessee with over 30 years of experience. She has worked with clients who have a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, bipolar, trauma, parenting and relationship issues. Pam earned her Bachelor's degree Behavioral Sciences from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor, and her Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Tennessee-Memphis.

Conway Counseling & Wellness Center is a group private practice of practitioners with specialties in mental health and wellness including psychiatry. Our treatment is holistic and incorporates traditional counseling with wellness services such as art therapy, yoga therapy, hypnotherapy, mindfulness, and massage. A client with anxiety could benefit from individual counseling, family therapy, yoga, and massage. Another client working to minimize an addiction could receive individual and group counseling, yoga for 12 step recovery, and hypnotherapy.
