Creating a safe environment where trust is built, she journeys with clients as they work at mending pieces back together through psychotherapy and soul level healing. She specializes in Sensorimotor and EMDR and believes strongly in the mind, body, soul connection of healing and wholeness. If a client chooses, Myra serves from a faith based perspective while meeting each client right where they are at with their individual differences, cultural backgrounds, beliefs and experiences. She works with adolescents, adults and families.

With a strong background in biology the approach to counseling is very solution focused and takes into account the natural tendencies and responses that may work against wellbeing. The worry and fear get so bad sometimes that they boil over into panic. The shame of losing control causes the cycle to start all over again. So you become avoidant of the people and places that seem to trigger these difficult feelings.
