For over 32 years, I have walked alongside individuals and families through change. Change pulls at the core of who we are and often in this tug-of-war, we find ourselves frustrated, lost, feeling helpless and with major questions. Let's journey through these questions together.

We all experience emotional ups and downs from time to time caused by events in our lives or even a recent diagnosis. I specialize in assisting those who suffer from depression, anxiety and addiction. Your symptoms may be triggered by job loss, relational problems, trauma, divorce or even loss of a love one. Your symptoms may effect your relationships with your family, friends, classmates or co-workers.

Life's challenges bring us to our knees. A Licensed Professional Counselor, "LPC", helps. Since 1990 my work with courts, hospitals & schools has helped. I have "been there" -- I "get it". While working F/T for UC, I earned my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling (diagnosis & treatment of mental & emotional disorders) before earning my Doctorate at UD in my 20's as a F/T employee. As Practice Owner & Miami Univ (OH) Licensed Clinician, research shows us DBT, EMDR, and CBT work. In 1990, at Beech Acres, 1st approved by the Supreme Court of Ohio to Co-Lead, a Specialized Family Mediation Training for Attorneys & Therapists.

We offer a safe environment for you to share your story. People describe me as empathetic, compassionate and relational. As we work together, you can develop healthier coping skills and work through unresolved issues. I value the client/therapist relationship and provide space for clients to explore and give meanings to unconscious patterns of behavior.

I am a trauma-focused, mindfulness utilizing master's level practitioner who finds satisfaction in sessions centered around what you need to learn to be your best and whole self. I also am able to work with young children in play therapy, which is a modality focused on communication via play and kinetic learning.
