Hello! My name is Anita Stoudmire and I am a licensed professional therapist who specializes in couples therapy as well as individual therapy. I enjoy helping people to become their best selves and improve their relationships. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with most of my individual clients. I am trained in the Gottman Method for couples therapy and I am a certified Seven Principles Workshop leader.

I enjoy clients 18 years of age and older dealing with any life transitions, relationship difficulties, stress, anxiety, depression or trauma. I have extensive training and experience working with service members, police officers, fire fighters, first responders and their spouses. My first four years as a therapist I worked for the United States Marine Corps Community Counseling Center and am now in private practice.

As we are facing uncertainty you may feel overwhelmed. You may have a loved with special needs and trying to navigate through day to day life while home. I am here if you want to talk about it. I recognize how important and valuable counseling is- today- perhaps more than ever- with the demands and stress and pressure of every day, it's not easy to sort things out, and counseling can help. Counseling is the place where you go to talk, learn new strategies, skills, gain insight and understanding, and learn to love, accept, and value who you are so that you can live and find your best life.
