Taking a holistic approach as a counselor in trauma, her goal is to help clients gain skills and coping mechanisms. So that most sensitive topics become testimonials. Turning what can be the worst situations to go through, into building blocks of who you become. Her passion is helping clients with a wide range of needs. Her personal background includes experiences with surviving extensive domestic violence involving the court systems, sexual assault, complex family scenarios, divorced parents, and helping all ages develop self helping skills to navigate life's challenges as they come.
We will work together to assess all areas creating conflict and set backs, using tools such as CBT, IFS, EMDR to navigate and desensitize the trauma one layer at a time. She works with individual adults, adolescents and couples to strengthen their self beliefs to foster better relationships with themselves and others around them.
Jordyn’s drive and passion to work in counseling stems from her love of helping others. She specializes and dives deep into trauma therapy with EMDR after experiencing it herself in a wide range of situations including. She feels the life changing effects EMDR had; is the main reason she is where she is today.
