Hello, I am Dr. Christian Bracamonte, proud Chicano therapist and owner of California Love Counseling, a boutique private practice where I specialize in relationship therapy (couples, pre-marital, marital, polyamory) and LGBTQ-affirmative therapy. I also offer individual and family systems therapy. I welcome clients and relationships that consider themselves to be different, or alternative, or “non-traditional.” I work diligently to create an inclusive and open-minded therapeutic environment where the unique and complicated intersections of your identity are not only acknowledged, but central to your healing and growth.
I have 15 years of experience providing mental health and clinical social work services across a wide range of public service and private practice settings. My Master’s Degree, Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) Degree, and clinical license (LMFT) are all in the field of relationship/marital and family therapy (MFT), and I consider this my area of expertise.
I also work as an adjunct professor in a MFT graduate program where I teach classes such as Couples Therapy, Sexual Issues in MFT, and Etiology and Diagnosis of Mental Illness.
