I have experience working with various populations across many settings, with children and adolescents composing the majority of my caseload for the last decade. While much of my career has taken place in a school environment, I also have experience counseling individuals suffering from chemical dependency, as well as those in an outpatient mental health setting. I hold a degree in social work with a concentration in children, and I am a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I have facilitated a variety of groups, including Children of Alcoholics groups and groups within an intensive outpatient setting.
I enjoy incorporating social skills and emotional regulation skills into my work. I listen attentively, offer suggestions to solve problems, and believe in working together to address client goals and individual needs.
My goal is to build rapport with clients and make the therapeutic experience as comfortable as possible. I am available for both brief counseling and long-term support. No matter the size of the concern, big or small, I will work with you to practice the skills needed to build success in your life.
