About
With a therapeutic relationship filled with nurturing and collaboration, along with a bit of humor and playfulness, we can explore dynamics, improve skills, and overcome barriers. Together, we identify and utilize strengths in the process of facing more challenging emotional and relational struggles. My clients, which include children, adolescents, and adults, frequently address issues such as anxieties, OCD, ADHD, trauma, negative self-worth, school/work-based challenges, perfectionism, emotional regulation, preparation/adjustment to divorce, parenting, bullying, and the overall desire to improve key relationships.
Together, my clients and I strive to understand how they perceive themselves within the context of their significant interpersonal relationships, how to create a healthy view of self and healthy connections with others. We explore behavioral and emotional responses to deepen understanding and to discover tools in becoming their “best self!”
I am the Clinical Director of Atlanta Innovative Counseling Center and former co-director of New Directions Counseling Center. I received my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from UGA, completed my Pediatric Psychology fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine and my Child Clinical Psychology internship at The University of Louisville,
