I enjoy working with adult individual clients facing a variety of challenges and life stressors, including trauma/complex trauma/PTSD, anxiety and stress management, adjustment, emotion regulation, dissociation and DID, self-esteem, relationship issues and communication, ADHD and autism, chronic illness and pain, anger, OCD, bipolar disorder, and depression.
My approach incorporates the values of unconditional positive regard, authenticity, creativity, humor, empathy, and understanding to meet each client exactly where they are.
My counseling style is eclectic and holistic, pulling from approaches such as Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR - Level II trained), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as person-centered, narrative, mindfulness, somatic, and strengths-based approaches.
As a lifelong learner, I am dedicated to the continued addition of new perspectives, ideas, and training into my practice.
