Licensed Professional Counselor, MA, LPC
If you desire to make a change in your life for any reason, we are here to help. If you think you may have OCD or even if you know you do; you are in the right place. I believe in helping clients achieve purpose driven change, helping you get your life to where you want it to be. We are all on a journey and at times, our journey can be interrupted by distress and suffering. Distress and suffering can take many forms, in any form, they can lead us to living a compromised journey and that we can work together to get your life back on track.
My journey as a therapist has focused on combining warmth and acceptance with directness. I have extensive experience working with OCD and anxiety disorders, including: Tourettic OCD, panic attacks, specific phobias (medical, needle, bugs), social anxiety, agoraphobia, generalized anxiety disorder (excessive anxiety or worry), and depression.
Christen’s training and current practice involve utilizing evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure-Response Prevention combined with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, tic disorders and depression.
