Congratulations! You have made the brave decision to seek therapy for your child! It is not always easy to recognize or accept that something in your child's life is not going the way that you would like and needs to change. If your child is struggling with maintaining healthy relationships, managing life’s stressors, or navigating emotions that sometimes feel too big and overwhelming, I can help. I work with children and adolescents to develop healthy coping skills to positively impact their thoughts, behaviors, and actions. I also work with families to improve or enhance the parent child relationship
In my work with adolescents, I use cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapy. When working with children, I most often use play and expressive art therapies. I specialize in therapy with young children (ages 3-6) to address behavioral challenges at home and school and parent/child relationship concerns.
As your child's therapist, I will provide a safe and non-judgmental space for to process thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I will help develop communication, emotional regulation, and coping skills to move your child towards their preferred future.
