I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and substance counselor with over eight years of experience. Before entering the mental health field, I had a 15-year career in EMS and Medical Transport. That background fostered my passion to help in mental health and gave me empathy for grief, trauma, and addictions. I'm certified in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). I work with adolescents and adults helping them overcome challenges and live more fulfilling lives. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions, grief and loss, and bipolar disorders.
I completed my bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master of Science (MS) in Professional Counseling at Liberty University. I am eclectic in my therapeutic modalities but include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and motivational interviewing (MI).
