Living a valued life takes courage, and so does engaging in therapy. Many people feel overwhelmed, lonely, and disconnected. I use a variety of approaches that can assist you in developing connections with self, others, spirituality, and community. My expertise is in those dealing with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I am trained in CBT, ACT, EFT, and CPT. I can assist you in looking at negative thoughts and how they create unwanted feelings and behaviors. I approach my work with the belief that each of us can heal and grow with support and nurturance and a few great coping tools.
I work with many young adults dealing with anxiety and self-esteem issues. Defining what you value in life is where we can start building the life you want. I teach coping skills that help you manage your symptoms.
I am supportive and non-judgmental. Whatever you are dealing with, I am open to listening with empathy and encouragement. I've had many clients share that they feel comfortable with my warm and caring nature.
