Counseling is the opportunity to walk alongside people in their most difficult times. Each person or couple has their own story to tell and its an honor to join them in their journey. My goal in counseling is to help people who feel lost find hope and a clearer roadmap that leads to healing.
The model of therapy I use is Emotionally Focused Therapy or EFT. EFT is a structured, short-term therapy. It is a present-focused, non-blaming, humanistic and client-centered approach. It is currently the most empirically validated couples therapy of the past 25 years. It is very effective when used with individuals and families.
