I help my clients navigate challenging life situations such as separation/divorce, living with a loved one who is abusing alcohol, major life changes such as career change/starting over. If you struggle with anxiety or depressed mood, codependency, indecision or overwhelm - I can help. I combine psychodynamic theory (reviewing childhood issues) as well as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral) strategies. If you are spiritual and/or religious, I am supportive and will incorporate this into your treatment. I have received training in the use of EFT (tapping) through ACEP - to clear emotional blocks. I am happy to refer clients to a prescriber for medication management if necessary while continuing regular therapy sessions.
