As a clinical social worker in private practice for over 20 years, I provide clients with space, support and acceptance. This "holding" space allows them to find solutions that lie within. I support wellness of body, mind and spirit in every area of life and development. I also utilize EMDR which is a powerful tool for healing trauma.
In addition to traditional therapy, I offer, for animal lovers, Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy in Islandia, NY. This approach utilizes a treatment team of therapist, equine specialist and horse with a paddock as a therapy office. This experiential approach can be used individually or to compliment traditional therapy.
