Are you are looking for a therapist who understands what it means to be a man. Maybe you are looking for someone who is part of the LGBTQ+ community? I specialize in men's issues, sex therapy, LGBTQ+ issues, and couples therapy. This includes working with gay/bi men, men who are questioning or evaluating their sexuality and gender, men in challenging relationships, and those exploring non-monogamy. I am one of the few male Certified Sex Therapists in PA. I am licensed in PA, NJ, DE, CT, NY, and VT. I've worked in mental health & social services for over 20 years as therapist, supervisor, professor, and public health worker.
I have an amazing team of therapists at the Center for Healthier Relationships, Individuals, & Sexualities (CHRIS). The team specializes in working with LGBTQ+ populations and is compromised of members of the community. The team has a variety of specialities, including neurodivergence, couples therapy, and sexual intimacy. We have low fee and sliding scale.
I strive to create an environment that is affirming, comfortable, and collaborative. I often use empathy, humor, clinical vignettes, and use of self (my experiences) to create a positive therapeutic experience.
